Privacy Policy
Terumo Vietnam Medical Equipment Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Terumo”) may sometimes receive your personal information (hereinafter referred to as the “Information”) for the purpose of providing you of valuable goods and services in the medical care field. In such case, Terumo will make efforts to properly treat and protect the Information according to the Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to this “Policy”) as below.
“Personal information” or “Information” under this Policy means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable: (1) whether the information or opinion is true or not; and (2) whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not. Examples of personal information include your name, your postal address, your e-mail address and your telephone number.
Your provision of Personal Information to Terumo constitute your consent to provide such information and usage of Information by Terumo as per this Policy.
1. Use of the information
If Terumo collects certain Personal Information from you, Terumo will clearly show the purpose of use of such Personal Information to you and will not use such Personal Information for any purposes other than the purpose of use shown to you without your consent.
2. Purpose of information collection and Scope of information use
Terumo will use the Information you provide to respond to your questions and to provide you with efficient service. We may also use this Information for other business purpose, such as:

- To assist in patient care.
- To arrange sponsorship,

- To obtain consultancy services,
- To consider and handle recruitment activities,

3. Duration of information storage
Personal data of customers will be stored until there is a request to cancel. Personal information of customers in all other cases will be kept confidential in the servers of Terumo.com.vn
4. Individuals or organizations may have access to the information
Terumo will not provide nor disclose the Information to any third party without your consent.
Terumo may share the Information with third parties with whom Terumo is jointly marketing a product or service or jointly conducting a program or activity. It is Terumo’s practice to notify you if you are registering for a program which is conducted in conjunction with another company that may require access to the Information.
Terumo may also share the Information with the service providers with whom Terumo contracts to carry out business activities for Terumo. Our service providers may include delivery and logistics service providers, information technology and outsourcing service providers, our lawyers, accountants and other advisors and consultants. If Terumo provides the Information to service providers to assist us with our business activities, it is Terumo’s practice to require those service providers to keep the Information confidential and to use the Information only to perform functions for Terumo.
Terumo may also share the Information with third parties, such as healthcare practitioners, as a part of any treatment provided to you.
Terumo may disclose the Information to respond to authorized information requests from government authorities to address national security situations, or otherwise required by laws and regulations.
5. Confidentiality of the Information
Terumo takes security measures technically and organizationally, including placing a person in charge of management and/or control of the Information, to prevent loss, destruction, falsification, divulgence or leakage to outside Terumo of and unauthorized access to the Information.
6. Instruments and tools for users to access and correct their personal information
If you intend to disclose, correct or delete all or any part of the Information or suspend the use thereof please contact the information in Section 8 below. Terumo will promptly follow your request within the reasonable extent.
In certain limited circumstances as permitted under the laws, we may refuse to grant you access to the Information. If we do not provide you with access or correction of the Information, we will provide you with reasons for our such decisions.
7. Revision of this Policy
Terumo will review and revise this Policy from time to time to protect the Information, and will disclose the revision of this Policy, if any, on this website.
